For travellers to Tanzania
The current outbreak of Ebola disease caused by Bundibugyo virus remains confined to northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, with no confirmed cases in Tanzania and no WHO-recommended travel restrictions to Tanzania. The country has enhanced screening at points of entry, especially for arrivals from the DRC and Uganda. Conference organisers are closely monitoring the situation in line with WHO and national guidance and will promptly share any updates or additional health measures with delegates.
